Executing an Order / Balancing an Invoice or Debit Note

Once you have placed the Order for a Service, you would have to Execute the Invoice associated with it. In effect you are paying for the Service bought by you. Please follow the procedure mentioned below to achieve the same.

To execute an Order

  1. Login to your Customer Control Panel. See details

  2. Point to My Billing and then click Pending Payments.

  3. From the list of pending Invoices & Debit Notes, select the ones that you wish to execute / pay.

  4. Click the Pay Button and there you can see your Debit Account Balance.

    • If sufficient funds are available you can click the Continue to Execute the Order button.

    • If you do not have sufficient funds in your account, click the Add Funds button, where you would be presented with various methods available to add funds to your account. Once the Funds have been added to your Account, you would have to pay for the Invoice by following instructions from step 2 above.

Adding Funds in your Debit Account

To add funds to your Account from the Control Pane

  1. Login to your Customer Control Panel. See details

  2. Point to My Billing and then click Add Funds.

  3. There you would be presented with various methods available to Add Funds to your Account with . You can choose one of the options and Add Funds to your Account.

Note

Adding Funds to your account does not automatically settle any Invoice/Debit Note pending against your Account. You will have to manually pay for it. See details

Setting your Language Preferences

You can choose to view the OrderBox interface, as well receive notification mails sent by the system in any of several different languages.

To specify your language preference

  1. Login to your Control Panel. See details

  2. Click the icon at the top right corner of the page and then click Your Account & Security.

  3. Click on the Edit Profile button.

  4. Here, select the language of your choice from the drop-down box for Language Preference.

  5. Once you have finished making the necessary changes, click on the Save button.

Setting your Email Preferences

You can select the Mail Preferences for yourself and decide as to which mails you want to receive from .

  1. Login to your Control Panel. See details

  2. In the menu, point to Settings and click Mail Preferences.

    You need to point to Settings -> System Notifications and then click Emails, if SMS alerts have been enabled for your Account.

    Note

    SMS alerts have been enabled for Brazilian, Canadian, Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, UK and US Customers only.

  3. This would present you with a list of mails sent by . You can select the mails you wish to receive and disable the remaining mails. You can set the preference as Send ALL mails below to myself or DO NOT send any of the mails below to myself or Send Mails to myself based on my Custom Preferences.

    • By default, the Email Preferences for drop-down menu is set to Send Mails to myself based on my Custom Preferences. Here, you can set
      the preference to Yes or No for individual mails.

    • If you wish to receive all mails, you can select the Send ALL mails below to myself option from the drop-down menu instead of setting
      the preference to Yes to each and every mail individually.

    • If you wish to disable all mails, you can select the DO NOT send any of the mails below to myself option from the drop-down menu instead of setting the preference to No to
      each and every mail individually.

  4. After making appropriate selections, you can submit the same by clicking the Submit Changes button.

Note
  • There are certain compulsory emails which are sent by the system to you, irrespective of the Mail Preferences set by you:

    • Emails related to Spam Complaints

    • .IN Domain Name Renewal Reminder Emails

    • .RU Domain Name Transfer-in Instruction Emails

  • Mails related to Whois Data Reminders would be compulsorily sent by the System to the Registrant Contact of the domain name.

Changing your Control Panel Password

You can easily modify your Customer Control Panel Password as explained below:

Changing the Password from within the Control Panel

  1. Login to your Customer Control Panel. See details

  2. Click the icon at the top right corner of the page and then click Change Password.

  3. Mention the following details:

    • Current Password: You need to mention here the Password that you just used to login into your Customer Control Panel.

    • New Password: Enter any new Password.

      Note

      You need to consider the following, in relation with the Password (Anchor: password):

      • Allowed Password length is 9 to 16 characters.

      • It should contain at least:

        • 1 lowercase character
        • 1 uppercase character
        • 1 number
        • 1 special character. (Allowed special characters are: ~*!@$#%_+.?:,{})
    • Change the Password on a regular basis.

    • Avoid Password that contains personal information (name, birth place, etc.) or dictionary words.

    • Avoid using repeating characters (aaaaaa), keyboard patterns (asdfgh) or sequential numbers (123456).

    • Do not disclose your Password to anyone.

    • While setting a new Password, you may not re-use the current Password or the previous Password.

  • Confirm Password: Enter the same Password you set as your New Password.

  • Save the changes by clicking the Change Password button.

  • Changing the Password in case of Lost Password

    1. Visit the Control Panel Login URL at .

    2. Click the Forgot Password link.

    3. Provide your Username (Email Address) and click the Send Reset Instructions button.

      This would send an email to your email address, containing a link through which you can reset your Control Panel Password.

      Note
      • The link in the email will be valid for one hour from the time it was sent and it can be used to change the Password only once.

      • Only 5 attempts for sending the Password reset instructions are allowed in a 24 hour duration.

      • The email will also contain a link to cancel an unauthorized Password reset attempt.

    Changing your Control Panel Username, Mobile Number and other Contact Details

    1. Login to your Control Panel. See details

    2. Click the icon at the top right corner of the page and then click Your Account & Security.

    3. Modify the information here to suit your needs.

      The important fields are explained below:

      • Email: Provide your email address here.

        Note
        • We will verify a change to the email address by sending a code to the previous email address. You will have to provide this verification code to complete the change to the email address.

        • If 2-Step verification is enabled on your account, the verification code will be sent to the verified mobile number.

      • Personal Identification Number (PIN): Your PIN is a secret number that is used to verify your identity when you contact us.

      • Language Preference: Select the language in which you wish to see your interfaces, and receive emails from the system.

      • Mobile Number: Provide your mobile number here.

        Note
        • A notification will be displayed on the DashboardList of Orders page within your Control Panel, in case you have:

          • not provided a mobile number,

            OR

          • provided an invalid mobile number.

          You can update the mobile number by clicking the Update number link in the notification panel.

        • It is very important that you mention a valid mobile number belonging to you since the system will send SMS alerts to this mobile number. Currently, SMS alerts are enabled for Brazilian, Canadian, Chinese, Indian, Indonesian, Russian, Spanish, Turkish, UK and US Customers only.

        • If 2-Step Verification is enabled on your account, we will verify a change in your mobile number by sending a verification code to the previous number. You will have to provide this verification code to complete the change to the mobile number.

      • Click the Modify button to save the changes.
